“Open Day” at STP Novi Sad – a day of successful connection between students and member companies

An “Open Day” was held today at the Science and Technology Park Novi Sad, during which technological development companies, members of STP, were presented to students.

“In order to mark the first year of successful operation of the scientific-technological park, we organized the most attended event so far, during which students had the opportunity to see their possibilities in numerous aspects and to get acquainted with the projects of NTP member companies, with the aim of achieving potential cooperation”, said the director of the Science and Technology Park Novi Sad, Nebojša Drakulić, thanking the University of Novi Sad, the Faculty of Technical Sciences, the Faculty of Science and Mathematics and the Faculty of Economics for their support during the organization of this event.

Director Drakulić stated that the “Open Day” met all expectations and that this event will be included in the program of regular events, because, as he assessed, it affects the fulfillment of STP’s mission, which is primarily the merging of science and business.

Great interest was attracted by the presentations in which nine companies, members of STP, such as – Novelic, Schneider Electric, 3lateral, Syrmia, Norma Group LLC, Lanaco, Vega IT, Continental Automotive Serbia and ZF Serbia, presented their current projects and their development and research departments, while students had the opportunity to get acquainted with possibilities for employment, scholarships, professional practice, but also for participation in projects that would improve the knowledge acquired at the faculty.
