On the occasion of marking the first anniversary of the Science and Technology Park Novi Sad , the results of the work of this institution, as well as the goals for the upcoming period, were presented today at the STP amphitheater.
On this occasion, further activities were announced, one of the most significant being the construction of a new building within the Science and Technology Park, while the preparation of design and technical documentation is already underway.
Today, STP NS has 31 members, of which two are scientific research institutes – the Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Biosens, which develop information technologies for biosystems, 11 are technological development companies and 18 are startup companies, which, during the first year of operation, employ close to 1,000 highly educated experts from the information technology field.
In the first year of operation, more than 50 events were organized with over 2,000 participants interested in the field of technological entrepreneurship, and a series of mentoring workshops and sessions were held.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Provincial Government, the City of Novi Sad, the University of Novi Sad, representatives of companies, the scientific and research community and all scientific-technological parks – Belgrade, Niš and Čačak.
